How you can support Derian House Children's Hospice
Derian House cares for over 400 babies, children and young people across the North West. We couldn’t continue this without the support of our corporate partnerships.
Whether you are a large organisation or an independent business, our corporate fundraisers will work with you to find the scheme that suits you best.
Charity of the Year
Many organisations have a selected charity of the year initiative, which is normally selected by staff.
The morale-boosting effects of supporting a charity together at work can feed into team building exercises and we will work with you throughout the year to provide support to design a memorable year of activities to support the hospice.
Payroll giving
An easy and tax efficient way to give.
Payroll Giving means your staff could support Derian House with a very small contribution from just £1 per month directly from their wages.

I give to Derian House not only because I am a parent of 2 children but it is a charity local to me. I use the Give as you earn scheme run by my employer. This enables me to give to a worthwhile charity but save a small amount of tax which makes less of an impact on my net pay. With my employer administering in scheme it makes it easy and hassle free.– Denise Derbyshire, Payroll Clerk of Product Care Group
Regular giving
Setting up a monthly donation of £50 or more could provide a session in our interactive sensory room and give a family a night out at the movies in our cinema room, including popcorn and drinks.
This not only helps fund the hospice monthly but allows us to plan for the future with regular donations.
Fundraising events
We have a range of events for your team to get involved in throughout the year for all abilities – take a look here.
From bake sales to quizzes and everything in between, coming together with colleagues to raise vital funds is a fun and rewarding team-building opportunity. Get in touch for a fundraising pack to get started.
We decided to support Derian House this year as Preston, Garstang and Chorley branches work closely together. We wanted to choose a charity that covered all 3 areas and raise awareness about what a great job you do. Plus we wanted to get involved to be able to create some healthy competition between our branches and create some fun. One of the team members raised this as a charity as one of their friends little boys passed away here and the support she got was amazing.– Nationwide – Garstang, Preston and Chorley
