As Clinical Director (Chief Nurse) at Derian House, I’m here to ensure the delivery of outstanding care to the children, young people and families who come to Derian.
My past roles and responsibilities have included executive leadership for Safeguarding, Continuous Health Care, SEND, Personal Health Budgets, Mental Health, Patient Engagements and lived experience.
I am a Registered Nurse, Midwife, Family Planning Nurse, Health Visitor and Nye Bevan Graduate. I became an Honorary Professor at the University of Central Lancashire in February 2020.
I also hold the position of a non-executive director at East Lancashire Hospital acute Trust.
My special interests include management, leadership, whole system, transformation, safeguarding, lived experience and mentoring.
I have three grown up children and a Cockapoo called Mabel. I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my family.
